Blog Goals

Starting my own portfolio blog, I have been researching other blogs as inspiration for content and style. Below are three blogs I found that showcase a kind of style that I look up to and enjoy!

First up is, Taiya Maddison a teen girl who blogs about her lifestyle, fashion trends and other helpful things that appeal to teen girls. I especially love the aesthetics of her blog, it is full of cute pastel colors and trendy photos. As for content, I like her fashion posts because they keep up with what is popular and give the readers suggestions as to how they can fit a new trend into their style. Click here to check out Taiya's blog!

Recently I have been obsessed with travel and I have been thinking of all of these exotic locations that I would like to go to. The timing is pretty unfortunate, due to the fact that there is a global pandemic currently happening and travel is pretty limited, but Trisha Velarmino's blog "P.S. I'm on my Way" gives me an escape from my room even when I can't actually escape. As you can tell by the picture to the right, the format and theme of this blog is so pleasing to the eye and it shows the beauty of the world so well. Not only does Velarmino share stories and facts about places she has traveled, she also shares tips and tricks to traveling, budgeting and blogging. Click here to escape to new places through Velarmino's blog!

Apartment Therapy is an interior design blog launched by Maxwell Ryan. It includes everything you could ever want to know when it comes to houses, living spaces and interior design. On this blog you can find house tours, popular color palettes, cleaning and budgeting help, and a wide variety of photos of bedrooms, bathrooms, living rooms and more to help inspire the interior designer in you. Ever since middle school I have loved the concept of interior design, and you can often find me in Target looking for the next decoration I need in my room. I love this website because it has everything you need and helps people realize that interior design isn't something very hard, and is an extremely approachable process if you have creativity and the right help. Click here to check out all of the awesome posts and ideas on this blog!
